Australian Panorama June 29th

Launching the Australian Panorama with the film, SAPPHIRES, a funny and poignant journey from deep Australia to the Vietnam War, based on a real story. Presented by the Australian embassy.

A remarkable retrospective covering the period of 1952 until 2022. Reflecting the huge growth and prominence of Australian cinema from the 1970s after several decades in sharp decline and a fascinating point of contrast with the huge growth in Cambodian cinema and creative arts in the 1960s.

A diverse and rare line up is curated by Richard Kuipers (Variety film critic, producer and Festival curator) and Cedric Eloy (CIFF Director).
Organised with the support of the Australian Embassy in Cambodia to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Cambodia-Australia diplomatic relations, in collaboration with the National Film & Sound Archives and Screen Australia.

ខ្សែភាពយន្ដប្លែកៗ និងកម្រៗត្រូវបានជ្រើសរើសយកមកបង្ហាញដោយលោករីកឆាត គូពឺ (អ្នកវិភាគភាពយន្ត ផលិតករ និងអ្នករៀបចំមហោស្រព) និងលោកសឺឌ្រិច អេឡូយ (នាយក CIFF)។
